how to change your screen resolution...

If you dont see the full page when you access my site the chances are that you have your screen resolution set to 800x600. I decided to build my site to cater for 1028x768 as a lot of people have bigger monitors these days.

To view my site you will need to change your screen resolution - its easy, and you can change it back if you want to at anytime ...but the chances are you will want to keep it at the larger size :-) Anyway, just follow these steps...

1. Close/Minimise any open windows on your screen so you can see your desktop.

2. Click the right hand mouse button.

3. Select 'Properties' from the menu.

4. Click the 'Settings' tab.

5. In the bottom right hand corner where it says 'Screen Area' move the slider until it says 1028x768.

6. Click 'Okay'

7. A small dialogue box will appear saying Windows is about to apply your new settings. Click 'Okay'.

8. Your screen resolution will get bigger and another dialogue box will appear asking you to confirm the changes. Click 'Yes'.

9. Thats it! Enjoy my site :-)

Note: If at any time you want change back to 800x600 just follow these instructions again and choose 800x600 resolution.
